Every band has those certain gigs they remember, from the songs they played, to the vibe prior to the show, to the festivities afterward. This show had all three! We were in the midst of a long week and a half tour of the Bayou, and the meat & potatoes of this trip was a show at Tipitina’s. Lingo embarked on a four-day tour of Florida to promote the band’s newest EP Someday, which we had officially released the week prior. The second show of that run was at a place called Hooligans, opening for Aquaphonics, and it turned out to be one of the band’s best shows of 2010.  We were fortunate to have also gotten video footage of that performance from our bud Adam Firtel, which can be seen here and here and here.  A couple tracks from this show made their way onto the band’s first podcast, too.  It’s kind of amazing to hear the early arrangements …..more →
